Tour proceeds benefit www.koacarecamps.org
Audrey was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma when she was 11 months old. After a strong two year battle with the disease, she went into remission and has remained there for 8 years now! Last summer Audrey was asked by Children’s Hospital to stop by the event and check it out. It turned out that she was leaving for the camp we support the next day. It was also her first year to attend and she was very excited. Audrey’s smile made all of us, who met her, truly realize what a difference we make with our Charity Open Houses. Audrey’s mother told us that the camp we were supporting would be helping over 50 children attend camp for a week. After touring the camp and meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus Audrey left the KOA to go back but firmly remained in many of our hearts.
As many of know, we were able to raise over $2,000 during this open house for this great camp and hope to double that in 2017. We hope you will help us! By the way, Audrey said she had an action filled time at camp and is truly thankful that you all will continue to help send her, and children like her, to have this awesome experience. She, and her entire family, are honored and humbled by your willingness to help this camp and name this event after her. She looks forward to seeing you all in 2017!!!
Why KOA Care Camps?
Each of the cancer camps supported by KOA Care Camps is designed specifically for children with cancer. On-site medical facilities staffed by professionals are ready to administer treatments as needed, while camp counselors have undergone special training focused on meeting the unique needs of cancer patients. In many cases, these camps are staffed almost entirely by volunteers to ensure that any funding they receive goes toward making the experience of every camper remarkable and full of joy.

SVTF Fall Into Vintage Rally
A perfect time to enjoy the Fall Leaf Season in the mountains. Cool mornings and warm afternoons are a welcome kick off to Fall. We are lucky enough to have secured the entire campground in this prime location, which is nearly impossible during leaf season.
The campground offers both full hookup sites (water, sewer and electric) or just water and electric. There are cabins and tent sites available as well. In 2017 they will add a new bath house!
We will have the entire campground held for us but it’s a small private campground so sites are limited. That means book early! If sites are gone, get on the wait list as we always have cancellations closer to the event!
Reservations can be made directly with the campground by calling Marla (828)765-2681 Please tell them you are with the Southern Vintage Trailer group to insure a spot. Website for more info is www.linvillefalls.com

Festival of Lights Gathering
As you know, the Festival of Lights Gathering is one of our most popular gatherings and sells out almost immediately. In the past few years it’s become increasingly difficult to work with James Island Campground. They are essentially not set up for groups of our size. If you participated in the fiasco that booking became last year you will understand the issue. Due to the situation last year and the feedback that was given from members of the group, SVTF will not be booking and holding a block of sites this year. As with most gatherings, each individual will book their own sites directly with the campground.
There is NO OPEN HOUSE / TOUR at this event
Come join us for the first upstate Gathering of the 2018 season at Croft State Park.
